Wanda Cole, 89 formerly of Paris, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026.

A graveside service has been set for Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Hopewell Cemetery with Pastor Ken Holbrook officiating.  No formal visitation will be observed.

Wanda was born on May 28, 1936 in Paris to John and Viola Gambill.  She was an Elvis super-fan.  She loved collecting things and going to auctions.  Wanda loved to cook, decorate and listen to music.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Peimann and husband Tim; grandchildren, Casey Smith, Abbie Holbrook and husband Ken, Trenton Thompson and wife Jenna, Brandi Shaw and husband Johnnye, Sara Brewer; great-grandchildren, Garrett Pope, Rayna Nelson and husband Jack, Ayden Johnson, Julien Shaw, Adrien Shaw, Trace Smith and wife Grace, Tenley Smith, Micah Holbrook, Bentley Holbrook, Paislee Thompson, Eden Thompson, Jax Thompson; nephew, Eric Fox.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Johnnie N. Cole; son, Larry Brewer; sister, Sue Fox; and her pet monkey, JoJo.
