On Apr. 29, Officers were notified of a Theft call (Shoplifting) occurring in the 3800 block of Lamar Avenue. The suspect was leaving the scene with a stolen push mower. Officers received a vehicle and suspect description. The suspect vehicle and driver were spotted in the 3500 block of Lamar and stopped shortly afterward. The suspect, identified as Courtland Marcell Bradford (32) was identified and confirmed to be the same subject who had committed a similar theft on April 28, 2026 at the same location. Bradford was arrested as he was in possession of the stolen merchandise and wearing the same clothing described by the reporting party. It was discovered that he had multiple convictions for theft in the past. Bradford was charged with Theft under $2,500.00 with two prior convictions.
On Apr. 29, Officers responded to a family disturbance in the 3100 block of Clarksville St. They made contact with the suspect, eventually identified as Javarrius Keyshan Robinson (17). Robinson gave multiple dates of birth and used the name of another family member but his true name was finally confirmed by Detectives on the scene. It was established that Robinson had been involved with an assault against a family member as well as damaging property. Robinson had previously been charged with Family Violence and was charged in this instance with Continuous Violence Against the Family and Failure to Identify. He was booked and taken to county jail. .
On Apr. 29, Officers were advised of a Disturbance in the 10 block of NW 11th. Upon arrival they made contact with Quentin Deshon Walters (45) of Paris. Walters denied any physical disturbance but due to erratic behavior, screaming at others in the residence, was detained and secured in handcuffs. After Walters was detained, witnesses and a victim arrived at the residence and informed officers that Walters had assaulted an ex girlfriend by pushing her down, causing injury and poking his finger in her face. Walters was arrested on the charge of Assault With Bodily Injury. During the search of Walters post arrest, he was found to be in possession of narcotics, which he declined to discuss with officers. Walters was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was booked and taken to county jail.
On Apr. 29, Officers received notification of a Burglary of a vehicle in the 700 block of SE 20th. The victim advised that his handgun had been stolen from his truck the previous night. Officers entered the firearm serial number into the nationwide base as stolen and collected evidence from the vehicle. It is believed that the vehicle was unlocked. The investigation will continue.
Officers made 42 traffic stops, 5 adult arrest, and answered 108 calls for service during this reporting period.
